Shipping policy

1) Overview

This unified policy applies to all shipments fulfilled by SkidSteerCabs.com LLC ("we", "our", "us"). It includes separate terms for domestic orders (U.S. & Canada) and international orders. By placing an order, you ("Customer") agree to the applicable terms below in full.

2) Domestic Shipping (U.S. & Canada)

  • Service days: Orders are processed and shipped Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays.
  • Carriers: We use parcel and LTL carriers at our discretion based on product size, weight, destination, and service level.
  • Remote area surcharges: Certain destinations may incur additional fees (e.g., limited-access delivery, residential surcharges, or remote area fees).
  • Signature: A signature may be required upon delivery. If you are unavailable, storage, re-delivery, or return fees may apply.
  • Canada-specific: Prices are in USD. Canadian shipments may require a customs broker and may be subject to duties/taxes imposed by Canadian authorities. All such costs are the recipient's responsibility.

3) International Shipping

Important: International orders ship under DAP Incoterms® 2020 (Delivered At Place).
Buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, GST/VAT, tariffs, customs brokerage, and import fees at destination. No returns; all sales are final.

3.1 Incoterms

All international shipments are conducted under DAP Incoterms® 2020. We arrange carriage to the delivery location. The Customer is responsible for customs clearance at destination and for paying all import charges (duties, taxes, GST/VAT, tariffs, brokerage, and related fees).

3.2 Customs, Documentation & Compliance

  • International shipments may require a customs broker and proper import documentation (commercial invoice, HS code classification, country of origin).
  • Customer is solely responsible for ensuring the product’s compliance with local standards, regulations, and import restrictions.
  • Customs inspections, clearance timelines, and any associated fees are outside our control.

3.3 Returns & Final Sale

  • No returns, exchanges, or cancellations for international orders once shipped.
  • Partial refunds may be considered at our sole discretion for non-shipping-related manufacturing defects only and require complete documentation.
  • If a partial refund is approved, Customer may be required to dispose of or return the goods at their expense, per our instructions.

3.4 Delivery, Remote Areas & Extra Charges

  • Extended transit times due to customs, port congestion, or carrier capacity may occur.
  • Remote or difficult-to-access destinations may incur additional surcharges, terminal/port handling fees, or delivery limitations. These costs are the Customer’s responsibility.
  • A signature is required upon delivery. Failure to accept delivery may result in storage, re-delivery, or return-to-sender charges borne by the Customer.

4) Freight & Oversized Shipments

  • Items exceeding parcel size/weight limits (e.g., ~140 lbs or large dimensions) may ship via LTL or international freight.
  • Liftgate, inside delivery, limited-access delivery, or destination terminal pickup may be required and are billable to the Customer.
  • Customer is responsible for arranging adequate unloading and for any local handling fees assessed by carriers or authorities.

5) Damage Claims & Inspection

  • Inspect packages immediately upon delivery. If damage is visible, note it on the Bill of Lading (for freight) and consider refusing delivery.
  • Photograph the damage, packaging, and shipping label before discarding any materials.
  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos, and description of the issue. Claims without timely documentation may be denied.

6) Payments, Currency & Cancellations

  • International payment methods: Shopify Payments, PayPal, or Bank Wire Transfer (funds must clear prior to shipment).
  • Currency: All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Customer is responsible for currency conversion and any bank fees. Orders will not be cancelled due to exchange-rate dissatisfaction.
  • Order changes/cancellations: For domestic orders, limited cancellation may be possible prior to fulfillment. For international orders, no cancellation after shipment release.

7) Lead Times & Delivery Windows

Lead times are estimates only and may vary due to supply/demand, carrier capacity, customs inspections, or other factors beyond our control. We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

8) Risk of Loss, Insurance & Liability

  • Risk transfer: Title and risk of loss pass to the Customer when goods are handed to the carrier at our facility.
  • Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing full-value shipping insurance, particularly for international or freight shipments.
  • We are not liable for delays, losses, or costs caused by carriers, customs, port/terminal authorities, weather, or other events outside our control.

9) Governing Law

This policy and all shipments are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
